The Week of Appointments

Our family had a great week. Nothing too exciting happened, just normal day to day craziness.
Parker had school pictures on Tuesday. The company that takes the pictures charges an arm and a leg for them. I decided to call the photographer to ask if I could see the proofs first before I spent money on the pictures. The answer was "no" so I didn't take chances and ordered only a class picture for Parker. I'm I a bad mom? Don't answer that.
Tuesday night I had Open House at Tanner's school. Boy did I get an ear full. He is learning something called a "phonogram"...never heard of it. Long story short, I'm paying $65 to go back to school for 2 1/2 hours for 4 nights, so I can help Tanner with his phonogram homework. Tanner is memorizing a poem/nursery rhyme that he needs to recite in front of his Kindergarten class on Wednesday. The poem that he chose is Hickory, Dickory, Dock.

Wednesday Parker had his 4 year old check-up at the doctors. One hour 20 minutes and 5 shots later we left. Hunter also had a doctors appointment that day at the otolaryngoligist, (ENT). He is now scheduled to have tubes put in his ears on September 7th.
On Friday Hunter, Parker, and Tanner all had dentist appointments. I'm happy to say that all 60 teeth did not have cavities. Tanner has had a loose tooth now for a few weeks that is just hanging by a thread but he is scared to pull it. I think tonight when he is sleeping I'm going to yank it out, I'm kidding.
Last but definitly not least, I made myself a pedicure appointment on Friday afternoon, I figured that it would be cheaper than a therapy appointment. Boy, did I enjoy that!
On Saturday I walked 8 miles on pavement, I feel like I did fine. I could have kept going but I was bored and hot. I'm so greatful to be participating in the fight to help end breast cancer, however I'm excited to get this 3-Day walk over with. My team, The Cactus Mamas has raised over $24,000, I think our team is #4 in Arizona for the amount of money raised!
Today we had a good day at church. Even though Hunter eats breakfast right before we leave for church he keeps asking the nursery leader for food every 5 minutes, better her than me!
Everyone is happy and healthy, kind of. (I had to give Hunter a breathing treatment tonight.) I'm thankful that after all these appointments that my family is doing well physically, and spiritually.
