Parker's Birthday

This week was a fun but crazy week. I had 10 church girls over on Tuesday night for Activity Days. The girls completed a "secret service project". I had my next door neighbor leave her cars parked in the driveway so the girls could wash them. They thought that the owners of the cars didn't know about this activity so they had fun trying to wash the cars, have a few water fights and try to stay quiet so the owners would be surprised to find their cars washed. Just when we were about to leave my neighbors came out and yelled, "What's going on out here?" The girls laughed and laughed, then was rewarded with treats. We had a great time.

On Wednesday the day was all about Parker. The house was decorated with balloons and crate paper. We had Parker's favorite food, (pizza of course) for dinner. His grandparents came over to celebrate with us that evening. Parker received a Play-Doh set, stuffed animals, money, puzzles, a play parachute, movies, and best of all.....a new bike! He was so excited. A few days later, Parker's grandma took Parker out to lunch, took him to the movies, and had Parker spend the night at her home. It was all about Parker for 24 hours and he loved the attention!

Friday night I had "girls night out" with some of my friends, there were 6 of us that went to the Cheesecake Factory after the children went to bed. It was nice to get away for a few hours and have girl talk.

Tait has been looking forward to the opening of the dove hunting season. On Saturday morning he woke up Hunter and Tanner at 4:30 and took them scouting for birds. While they were out in the desert Tanner found 44 frogs and brought them all home. The poor things, I'm surprised they have lasted this long, I'm sure they will all be dead by the morning. They have brought hours on entertainment to the children though.

All in all, we had a good week and I'm thankful for my family, my home, and our health. I'll write more next week.......

I just noticed that when I comment it says that the "Willis Family" commented on "The Willis Family". I know, I am a huge dork because I think that's kinda funny.
