The Week Of June 8th

We started the week up at Big Bear. Each day the weather was absolutely beautiful. The children spent most of their time building dirt bombs, playing scavenger hunt, fishing, going to the library and playing in the lake.

One of the days I took the boys geo-caching. (Geo-caching is where someone hides a treasure then posts the coordinates of the treasure online. When we find the treasure with our GPS we can take the treasure then replace it with a new one, or leave it.) The boys love going on geo-caching treasure hunts. When we were finished I took the boys to have some Thrifty ice cream.

Tanner found an old hat of my dads up at the cabin, he thought he looked so cool.
Since the weather has been so nice, I decided to put a table out on the deck so the kids can eat all their meals outside. It's also a lot easier to clean up afterwards.
The kids have a favorite park up in Big Bear that we call the Witches Park. We gave the park this name because of a house nearby that I told the boys a witch lived in. Every time we going to the Witches Park they always run up to this old house and yell, "Come and get me" then they run like crazy.

Tait came into town on Thursday night. We were so happy to see him! My mom watched Hunter while Tanner, Parker, Tait and I went out to have dinner. It was great to be together.

On Saturday, my mom, dad, Bryan, Camille, Jeremy, and our family went to the beach for the day. We got there at 9:30 and stayed till after 3:00. We had a great time.

This yacht was so big, that it even had a helicopter on the back. I have seen a lot of beautiful yachts, but this one takes the cake. The picture doesn't come close to show how gorgeous it was.

I bought the boys these darling sea turtle hats. They are so cute.

Hunter likes to help Nana clean her windows. After quickly running out of Windex we refilled the bottle with water and he kept on cleaning.

On Tuesday morning I was able to go to the Newport Beach temple with my mom. It was nice to be their and it was funny running into a few people that I hadn't seen in years.

On Sunday it cost us $80 to get to church, using the toll road. Instead of paying at the toll booth we used my mom's electronic sensor so we would be billed, (she would be billed). Well come to find out, the sensor was broken because we spilled water on it. So now we have to pay a $50 violation for not having a working sensor when we were on the toll road and $30 to replace the sensor. I'll just take $80 out of our tithing money to pay for this, I'm sure God will understand.
My mom's ward meets in a beautiful building in Aliso Viejo. The kids like going to Primary because the the Primary meets on the second floor. In order to get to there, the children walk up a beautiful staircase. The building also has 2 chapels.

The boys had so much fun with Tait in town. This picture is of Tait and the boys dissecting a bee.

Seriously, are you some kind of professional photographer that I am not aware of? You take the coolest pictures. It does help that your boys are so adorable too I guess. We miss everyone so much and hope to see you when we come!

How fun is that! You know, having boys I am finding is completely different than having mostly girls! Thrifty's ice cream! I am so jealous! Please have a scoop of double chocolate malted crunch for me!

Such a cute post! I loved all the pics. Cute pics of the boys eating ice cream, and I love the "witches" house at the park.

It was super fun going to the beach w/you guys! It was fun to be there all day too; I haven't done that in a while. I love the pic of the boys w/their heads popping out of the sand.
