Rub A Dub, Dub, There's A Turd In My Tub

Now for another turd story.... Parker and Hunter were taking a bath, (I'm sure by now you can guess the ending of the story) and I hear Parker say, "what's that?". Then I hear Hunter say as proud as a 2 year old can, "poo poo!". This isn't the first time, or even the 2nd time Hunter thinks that my bath tub is a toilet. Do other children do this, or is it just mine? (Kenneth, you don't have to answer this.)

My week started out wonderful. My next door neighbor/friend sent me these gorgeous flowers. They are so beautiful and smell so good. It's great having friends that are so special.

This week I was able to put all of my wheat in 5 gallon containers. Before I poured the wheat in the buckets, I put some dry ice in the bottom so that the gas would kill anything that is lingering in the wheat or the buckets. I had some extra dry ice so I put it in some hot water so the kids could play in the "fog". They loved it! By the way, Parker is blowing in the bucket not inhaling.

The boys asked me if it was alright if they could play in the sprinklers this week. Since the weather is warming up I gave them my permission. The next thing I knew, I looked outside and I saw nothing but mud monsters in underwear running around the lawn. Parker ended up getting a sunburn on his back, I don't know how with all that mud caked on.

Last night Parker somehow got a fishing lure stuck in between his teeth right before our guests arrived for dinner. Why does this weird stuff always happen at the worst times?

Some other exciting events this week were... Grandma Willis had another birthday, go grandma! Parker passed his vision test with no problems. I had 12 girls ages 8-11 over for Activity Days on Wednesday evening. I was able to hear Jenny Phillips speak on Thursday evening. I went to camp LoMia on Saturday and went hiking with some girls. Parker scored his first soccer goal of the season!

Wow, sounds like a fun week!

How did that lure get stuck in his teeth? Actually, do I really need to ask? : )

Howdy, we've never met, I am a high school friend of Tait's. Great to learn about his family over the web. Yes, my 3 year old daughter has now "christened" the tub two times with a "poo poo". She's done it both times and then stood up and screamed bloody murder that there was "poochie" in her bubble bath. I am so relieved that our kid is not the only one. I'll be glad when that does not happen again. The quick clorox clean up after putting them in the other bathtub is not so much fun.
