Where Do I Start?

It has been crazy at the Willis home the last few weeks. Last week everyone was so sick. Tait and the baby had pneumonia, Tanner had strep and Parker dislocated his elbow, (again). The doctor told me that I needed to give Hunter breathing treatments every 2-3 hours, plus antibiotics. Each breathing treatment takes about 15-20 minutes, so it seemed like all I was doing was sitting down giving him treatments. It was worse than nursing. I ended up teaching Hunter, (remember he is only 2) how to give himself the breathing treatments. He would sit in his Spider Man chair and watch a cartoon while holding the mask to his face. It was both so cute and so sad at the same time. I'm glad it's over with. Last week Tait went to a sleep lab and had a sleep test. Tait had 22 wires stuck to him so we can find out why he snores, and why he is always so sleepy. We will get the results back next week, however we won't be surprised when the doctors tells us it is sleep apnea.
The weather has been so nice lately. Tait took the boys hiking last weekend.
This picture makes me laugh every time I see it. For family night a few weeks ago we played a new game called "Poor Kitty". Whoever is the kitty has to crawl over to someone and try to make them laugh. The person that the kitty picks has to pet the kitty 3 times and says, "poor kitty" without laughing. I was keeping a straight face until Tait came over to me and licked my leg. Tait is such a good sport! Another reason why I love Tait.

I feel for you with the breathing treatments! I have pictures of all but one of my kids doing the same thing. Hang in there! Jake had pneumonia so much that we finally got him tested for allergies. After he started shots 2 years ago he hasn't had it since. Since allergies run in the family you might want to think about testing him. Just a thought. Hope everyone gets better!
