Online Shopping Marathon, (don't tell Tait)

A couple of weeks ago was the first time I learned of Cyber Monday. Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving, this is the best day to shop on the Internet and is supposed to be equivalent to Black Friday. After endless hours, I was able to get most of my shopping completed on this day. I sat in front of my computer with my credit card in front of me and went to town. There were some great sales and almost every company ships for free if you make a purchase that day.



On Friday the kids were going crazy because they couldn't play outside, (it was raining). So I decided to make them a fort in the dining room. I took all of the cushions from the living room furniture, and a couple of blankets and made them a fort. They loved it! Then I decided to kick it up a notch so I flipped over a love seat so the kids could have a "cave". They could believe I did this because I am always so protective of my furniture. Anyways, they had a blast and it kept the boys busy for hours.

Tait and I went on a date this weekend! On Saturday evening we started the night out by going to a party at a friends home, then headed out to a new outdoor mall that everyone is talking about. It was nice walking around with Tait, and window shopping. Later that night we went and got dessert. I know it doesn't sound very exciting but it was so nice just to be alone with him. Even though it is worth the money, babysitters are so expensive! I wish my mom lived closer so Tait and I could go out more often.

Tonight for family night I made cookies for our treat. Parker and Hunter couldn't wait!
